About Reiki

'Rei' means 'Universal Life' and 'ki' means energy (same as chi and prana) therefore meaning a universal, life energy that flows through all living beings. All living beings have (healing) energy residing in them and Reiki strengthens and connects with this energy.

As such, Reiki is not affiliated with any religion or belief system. It is simply a form of energywork, working with every beings' energy to heal and create a balanced and positive state; energetically, physically, mentally, soul-level, emotionally. Therefore, a Reiki session can ease stress, anxiety, physical pain, past trauma, emotional upset and more. The positive possibilities with Reiki are endless!

It was Dr. Mikao Usui who rediscovered Reiki as it is often practiced today. During a 21-day fast and retreat, he saw ancient Sanskrit symbols that came to develop Usui Reiki and began teaching it in Kyoto in 1922 and word fast spread. About Raman

Raman discovered Reiki aged 17 from a simple browse online for help with feelings of nervousness, and began practicing it regularly. At the age of just 19,  she became qualified in Levels 1 and 2, becoming one of the youngest students!

For the first year there was not much development in the Reiki practice, however it was after that when Raman started receiving more knowledge and messages from the Reiki energy. As this has been developing more, she founded RamanReiki.com to help others as much as possible in their lives and enjoys being able to connect with and provide people with clarity and guidance
